KAY Method™ (Kinetically Attune Yourself) is an ever-changing, innovative, embodied approach to every fitness/movement modality created by Kayla Forsythe. That's right, ANY and every movement class. The method lives as its own stand alone signature class, but its principles can be applied to any movement style: barre, yoga, cardio, etc. The KAY Method™ is a mixture of somatic techniques, mindfulness practices and philosophy, as well as energetic embodiment exercises to help shift the body from states of dis-ease, dysfunction, and dysregulation into safety, harmony, and bliss. Why aren’t we seeing "results" (whatever that means!?) at the gym? Why are we still chasing impossible standards, figures, and ideals? Why are we willingly trying to tone, lean, and burn our way into wellness and wondering why it isn't "working"? Because we’re starting out already completely dysregulated and then running our nervous systems into the ground to “feel better” and “get healthy”. And it works, until it doesn't. This is not sustainable and there is another way. What is so unique about this approach is it takes into consideration the body's autonomic nervous system and the constant information our body is signaling to our brain. The body talks, and KAY Method™ teaches us how to not only listen, but respond and respond in a way that creates a sustainable, long lasting change. For the better. For good.
